The personnel of the Space Command of our Air Force Command and the first Astronaut of our country Air Pilot Col. Alper GEZERAVCI and Lt.Col. Emrah ÇINAR represented our country at the 40th Space Symposium in Colorado Springs/USA between 07-10 April 2025.
A total of 11,500 people participated in the symposium, known as the largest activity ever held in terms of space activities. 350 speakers participated in the panels, while 378 companies and institutions promoted products and services.
In the symposium, which was attended by space forces/commands of developed countries in the space field, the military use of space, threats in the space operation environment and establishing allied space operational capability against these threats, the initiation of work on space weapons and the integration of civil space capabilities into space operations formed the main agenda items.
