The inauguration ceremony of the new facilities of the NATO Space Centre of Excellence (Space COE), established on 18 January 2023 by 15 NATO member countries, including Türkiye, was held on 19 January 2026 in Toulouse, France.
With the new facilities, the Space COE has reached full operational capacity, and our country is represented by two personnel: the Head of Concept Development and Experimentation Branch, and a Space Expert.
Air Force Space Commander, Colonel M. Serhan Yıldız attended the ceremony and later met with our Air Force personnel serving at the NATO Space Centre of Excellence.
Our international cooperation in the space domain continues with determination.
