TURKISH AIR FORCE COMMANDER

General KADIOĞLU was born in Eskişehir in 1961. After completing elementary, middle, and high schools in Eskişehir, he joined Turkish Air Force Academy in 1978 and graduated as a second lieutenant in 1982.Upon graduating from combat readiness training at 2nd Main Jet Base Flight Training Center and 3rd Main Jet Base, he was assigned to 7th Main Jet Base as a wingman in 1984. Between the years of 1984-1993; he served as a wingman and instructor pilot at the 172nd and 173rd Squadrons at 7th Main Jet Base Command. From 1993 to 1995, he again served as an instructor pilot and operations officer at the 1st Main Jet Base 112th Squadron.In 1997, he graduated from Air War Academy, which he had joined in 1995.      International Anatolian Eagle-2021 Training started for the aim of developing the opportunities and capabilities of national and foreign components to make the day time joint operations, improving the mutual support among the forces, upgrading the level of training by providing the planning and the execution of the  joint air operation missions against the tactic and strategical targets which are protected by the fighter aircraft and the air defense weapon systems that are deployed on the surface (on the ground and the sea),at the real-like operational environment, providing opportunities to try new tactics and technics  at the 3rd Main Jet Base Command (Konya) between 21 June-02 July 2021.

 

     In this training; Azerbaijan will participate with 2X SU-25 ve 2X MİG-29, Qatar will participate with 4X RAFALE, NATO will participate with 1X E-3A, Pakistan will participate with 5X JF-17, Türkiye will participate with 39X F-16, 2X KC-135R, 1X E-7T ve 1X ANKA-S.


     During the International Anatolian Eagle Training, the certification assessment of our capabilities, committed to the (NATO Response Force-NFR) will be performed for the first time. The Combat Readiness and interoperability capability of the 6xF-16, 1xKC135R tanker aircraft and 6xStinger air defense team, committed by the Turkish Air Force to the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force within the scope of NFR, will be supervised.
